"Beaches, in particular ocean beaches, fascinate me. There is such a large variety of life forms to be observed! Water, wind and sun are creating constantly changing patterns and illusions, very inspiring.

When walking over a beach I find a lot of things that attract my attention. Lately I have fallen in love with shells. They come in all kinds of shapes, sizes and colours. Collecting them is fun in itself and composing them into images and patterns keeps vivid the memory about wonderful days and the continuous process of creation and fading."
